Main Specifications and Features of 14pt and 16pt Business Cards:
Due to current shortages of paper, we might substitute the selected stock to what's available.
There are two options for this item:
In both cases we offer cover stock that has a coating on both sides, meaning that there is a smooth substrate on top of which we print.
16pt is slightly thicker than 14pt.
Most people will order 14pt because it takes less space in wallets.
The standard for this product is to apply full UV coverage on both sides of the card.
If you prefer to have one of the sides without UV, please select one of the options that indicate where to apply and where not to apply UV.
It is difficult to write on top of UV covered stock. A Sharpie-style marker (permanent marker) will work, but regular ball pens won't
Most of our clients order business cards printed on both sides.
Sometimes there are location maps on the back, and other times there is room to write, take notes, or indicate the next appointment.
If you need to write on the back of the card, (or on the front) we suggest that you specifically leave one side without UV (use a different selector to indicate so).
If you upload one side only in your files, but you indicate that you want double side, we will print the same information on both sides
Production Time: When you make a decision regarding production time, we are only considering the time required to produce and complete the production of your order, after you have formally approved the proofs and authorized the order to be released for production.
Approval time is not part of Production Time: When proofs or file replacements are required, that time is not part of the production time, therefore extending the day at which you should expect to have your business cards.
Shipping Time: The time that the shipping company takes to deliver between our production site to the destination is not part of the production time.
