A bumper sticker is a label with an imprinted message that is placed on car or truck bumpers, and sometimes on the front or rear windshields in the vehicle.
It is frequent to find bumper stickers in the windows and walls of teenage kids' bedrooms.
The messages imprinted on the labels might have the purpose of advertising, inspiration, or provide access to places that require pre-registration.
Some examples are promotions for events, a request for other drivers to report unsafe drivers in a fleet, to promote political candidate, IDs to grant access to private places, drive-training academy-vehicles, and a large number of additional uses.
Those labels or decals are usually made out of vinyl that is weather safe. The sticker will be given to you on top of a liner that should be removed before the application of the sticker to the vehicle.
The glue or adhesive can be permanent or removable.
The difference between permanent and removable adhesives is that at the time of removing the sticker, a permanent label will be difficult to pull, and will leave glue residue on the bumper. Most of the time that glue can be removed with solvents such as alcohol.
The removable adhesive, if the sticker is removed within a few months, can be pulled more easily with limited or no residues.

Labels with permanent adhesive will be harder to remove, but with the help of alcohol, penetrating oil such as WD-40 or other paint thinners, you can complete the task easily. A heat gun or a hair drier can be helpful as well.
The vinyl itself is weather-resistant as explained above, but the exposure to the sun will eventually degrade the colors. The colors that become more affected are yellow and pink. The fading process can take a very long time, so for short-term applications, applying a lamination is unnecessary, but it is up to your consideration.
If the sticker will be exposed to rough conditions; physical contact with sand blowing, or any other mechanical interaction, we recommend using a laminated unit.
