Why are A7 envelopes so popular?

A7 envelopes are extremely popular because of many reasons, but mainly because they present themselves in a comfortable size that is convenient for the messages and inserts that it can take.

We offer a few one-color imprint options and full color. Should you need a specific PMS color, please submit a custom quote.

Addressing

When you provide a list of names and addresses, we can custom imprint those on every envelope. We will contact you so that you can select the font,  we'll present you with a draft version to make sure that the position and alignment are to your liking. 

Properties of an A7 envelope

SIZE: This envelope's size is 5-1/4" x 7-1/4" with the flap opening on the "long" side of the envelope.

You can't see the seam, and the flap is square.  The stock weight is 28lbs, which is thicker to the paperweight of regular envelopes.

This envelope follows the International system of sizes, so the smaller envelope models will fit perfectly into this A7. 

COLOR OF THE ENVELOPE: The standard color of the envelope is white, which is the paper color on which this price calculator is based upon. If you need any other color of stock, feel free to place a custom price request, or give us a call at 1-877-421-0668.

INSERTS: You can insert a piece that is up to 5"x7" when folded.
Pictures usually printed in the size of 5"x7", therefore this envelope is perfect to share family memories in the form of printed photos.

TYPICAL SIZE OF INSERTS: A6 and A2 envelopes fit inside this A7  envelope. Any of those other ones is perfect when a return-reply envelope must be mailed with the invitation or the documents.

When is it convenient to use A7 envelopes?

INVITATIONS:
There are flat panels cards that have a size of 5"x7".
A folding invitation can fit as well into this envelope. We start with a sheet that is 7" wide by 10" tall, and fold it down to 5"x7". This format allows for a logo to be printed on the front of the card and for a message inside.

WEDDING INVITATIONS: The standard color of the envelopes is white, but a large number of colors is available for custom orders. 

EVEYRDAY USE: It is an elegant envelope so it can be used for any occasion.

THANK YOU CARDS: This format is perfect for "Thank you" cards. Companies will often ask for there logo and their main store message imprinted on the front, and  a simple pre-printed message inside, leaving enough room for a handwritten message.
